Going Coastal

While the East Coast has been getting snow by the foot, we’ve had some pretty phenomenal weather out here in Oregon over the past few days.  We saw lots of sunshine and temperatures in the high 40s.. it made for a lovely week outside with our Green Teams.

We were lucky enough to get to the coast this weekend with one of our JVC support people, Fred and it was an amazing way for me to see the Pacific Ocean for the first time.  I was literally giddy when we stepped onto the beach for the first time; its been awhile since I’ve been at the ocean.. I’ve been having separation anxiety.  We made several stops: Neskowin Beach was first, followed by Gleneden Beach and Boiler Bay, Depoe Bay and finally, Devil’s Punchbowl State Park.  We had gorgeous weather with not a bit of rain and the sun even shone for parts of the day.

All rivers, even the most dazzling, those that catch the sun in their course, all rivers go down to the ocean and drown. And life awaits man as the sea awaits the river.
